We at Martinspoker have been the object for a vicious

attack on your site for a problem that we had nothing to

do with. By mistake, it was printed that we had one seat

guarantee in our monthly Monte Carlo final. This was a

mistake made by our network and granted you could say that

we should have noticed this, but the fact is that 1) we

had cancelled all the remaining EPT qualifiers due to lack

of support by our players and 2) that Martinspoker was

closed between Dec. 23 and Jan 2.

We have send out e-mails in October and November that

clearly stated that there was only a guaranteed seat in

the first monthly final. In addition, we had a promotion

window on both Staffpoker and Martinspoker that when you

clicked on this promotion you could clearly see that it

was only in the November final that we guaranteed a seat.

We have attempted to solve this problem on the players

behalf and it has been very hard to do so with the

continuing falsities that has been written about us on

your site.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. All winners of a Martinspoker EPT package must be 18

packages won have no monetary value and cannot be assigned

or transferred.

2. By playing a satellite on Martinspoker players grant

Martinspoker the right to use your name and likes for

promotional purposes in connection with our EPT 2007

campaign without further compensation.

3. All satellites will be No Limit Hold’em

4. All winners agree to help promote Martinspoker and act

as a spokesperson for Martinspoker during the EPT 2007,

including wearing Martinspoker logo apparel at all times

during play at EPT 2007. Such apparel will be furnished to

players by Martinspoker.

5. By playing in a satellite You affirm that the name,

email address, postal address, and phone number(s)

associated with your Martinspoker account are accurate,

and agree that the person whose name appears on that

account will be the actual person who plays in the Event.

Any discrepancy in this may result in disqualification or

forfeiture of Event packages.

6. Martinspoker reserves the right to make any changes to

the rules and regulations.

 

 

I have highlighted the mentioning about only a guaranteed

seat in the first monthly final.

 

I understand that you cannot delete threads at will, but

the right way to handle this from your side would have

been to ask us and we would have informed you about the

situation.

 

Even though this dispute has been resolved, I would

appreciate if you could post the e-mail we send out as

well as the website info so people can see that we really

did not make a mistake.

I have read the whole post made by Ola on behalf of MP.

And I have to say that is is unfortunately that it happend to be as it did by the misstake of B2B network. Still, I feel that it is right that Biffberra get his full prize after winning the tournament. If you can't rely on what is written in the lobby, then it should not be anything els written there than the link to the rules that apply to the tournament.

Nice that someone finaly took there senses in use and desided that it was more costly to continue this charade than giving Biffberra what he should have been given from the start.

Skumt, för övrigt, att Claus fortsätter i hård stil när allt har fått en så fin avslutning. Han borde rida på den vågen istället och dra nytta av den generositet man visat. Märkligt agerande att be att få sätta in en sån skrivelse i detta skede.

Jag förstår mig inte på den där El presidente (Claus Nielsen). Först skriver han att MP inte på något sätt är ansvariga för det som har hänt och i nästa mening erkänner han att de själva har gått ut med information om att det garanteras en EPT-plats i varje månadsfinal.

Jag kan förstå att de sen ångrar sig när de upptäcker att intresset är svalt och ber B2B att ta bort informationen om att det garanteras en plats till vinnaren. Men likt förbaskat är det deras ansvar att kontrollera vilka turneringar som erbjuds i deras klient. Står det att det är garanterad plats när turneringen startar så är det dessa premisser som gäller.

Och han avslutar med att de står fast vid att MP inte har gjort något fel. Men varför väljer de då att först erbjuda biffberra kompensation och efter några dagar ger honom EPT-resan? Om de inte har gjort något fel borde biffberra bara få de ursrungliga 800.

Det Claus borde ha gjort är att erkänna att ett fel har begåtts och vi har hanterat det klantigt men nu gör vi rätt för oss och ber om ursäkt. MP skulle må bra av att ta in en pr-konsult som kunde ge "presidenten" lite lektioner i effektiv kommunikation.

Lite väl sur eftersmak på den här historien dock att gå ut med en "skrivelse" och skylla ifrån sig. Jag undrar direkt om det är fler som råkat ut för liknande behandling och INTE fått rätt ersättning till slut. Mitt förtroende för MP är tyvärr inte upprättat då det tydligen fortfarande inte anser att de skulle ha betalat ut något.

 

Gdaily, har du kommit på nån bra vinkling än kring hur den här typen av ärenden skulle kunna tas upp i ert program? Ta in en soptunna och bli pokerspelarnas Sverker nu! Vi behöver uppenbarligen all hjälp vi kan få med att hävda vår rätt mot en del pokerbolag. SVEPOF verkar ju vara tajta/passiva i den här typen av tvister, deras fokus ligger nog på livepoker...
