Binbs Postad 1 November , 2005 Rapport Share Postad 1 November , 2005 Villain is very solid player. Wouldnt go all in without thinking hes favorite. I talked to him after the hand, and he told me he had a strong draw, which prolly means openend str8 and flush draw. ** Game ID 562196808 starting - 2005-11-01 11:28:55 ** Stockholm [Hold 'em] (0.50|1.00 No Limit - Cash Game) Real Money - plojj sitting in seat 1 with $77.55 [sitting out] - PvtPoopy sitting in seat 2 with $40.44 [Dealer] - Binbs sitting in seat 3 with $89.00 - azazelzed sitting in seat 4 with $49.00 - MO_MONEY_ sitting in seat 5 with $72.08 - prhVide sitting in seat 6 with $98.50 Binbs posted the small blind - $0.50 azazelzed posted the big blind - $1.00 ** Dealing card to Binbs: , MO_MONEY_ raised - $2.00 prhVide called - $2.00 PvtPoopy folded Binbs raised - $6.50 azazelzed folded MO_MONEY_ called - $6.50 prhVide called - $6.50 ** Dealing the flop: , , Binbs bet - $15.00 MO_MONEY_ folded prhVide went all-in - $92.00 Binbs folded prhVide mucks: prhVide wins $125.50 from the main pot End of game 562196808 Citera Länk till kommentar Dela på andra webbplatser
parre Postad 1 November , 2005 Rapport Share Postad 1 November , 2005 Is Villain the type that would push a strong made hand like a set or a straight here, or would he call/raise less to extract more value? Citera Länk till kommentar Dela på andra webbplatser
Adapa Postad 1 November , 2005 Rapport Share Postad 1 November , 2005 Feels like he's on a draw, maybe an overpair. Well, set is also possible there, but is it likely that he'll play that hard headsup? I think you should call there. Citera Länk till kommentar Dela på andra webbplatser
Binbs Postad 1 November , 2005 Författare Rapport Share Postad 1 November , 2005 I think he would definately call with a made hand. I put him on two pair with his all in like that. Very common move with 2 pair when ppl think they are up against an overpair. Citera Länk till kommentar Dela på andra webbplatser
Nidson Postad 1 November , 2005 Rapport Share Postad 1 November , 2005 I think he would definately call with a made hand. I put him on two pair with his all in like that. That makes no sense. Two pair is definately a made hand. Citera Länk till kommentar Dela på andra webbplatser

parre Postad 1 November , 2005 Rapport Share Postad 1 November , 2005 If he'd just call with a set or straight here i would insta-call his all-in. Why? Because of his possible hands (overpair, straight flush draw, flush draw, straight draw, two pair) you have good enough odds to make this call. If, on the other side, he is the type to push with a set or straight here as well, I am more inclined to fold this. Citera Länk till kommentar Dela på andra webbplatser

Two pair is definately a made hand. What I meant was that 2 pair is the only made hand I think he would push with. Since its so fragile. IF the only made hand he pushed with is two pair, you should definitely call his all-in, since you are either a coinflip or ahead of his possible hands, and to dead to two pair. Furthermore, if he pushed with two pair on this board, he will also push hands like KK and QQ that you totally crush. So, given this information, I think you made an incorrect decision by folding. Hjort Postad 1 November , 2005 Rapport Share Postad 1 November , 2005 Personally I think I'd check the flop and see what happens on the turn before commiting to anything. That's one scary flop. In this sequence I'm strongly leaning towards a fold since the actions of the all-in guy are very consitent with having flopped a set, two-pair, straight or very strong draw. Hands that AA crush should be quite unusual for him to have since he just called two raises pre-flop making it unlikely that he has an over pair (or that he thinks an over pair is very good if he's thinking properly). Also: Raise more pre-flop when out of position. If you can get 10% or so of your stack in you don't have to worry much about being exploited post-flop. That makes no sense. Two pair is definately a made hand. I think it's a phrase from draw poker. A "made hand" is one you don't draw to (or can't be significantly improved by drawing). Smokey_McPot Postad 1 November , 2005 Rapport Share Postad 1 November , 2005 Villain is very solid player. Wouldnt go all in without thinking hes favorite. By solid, do you mean tight or good? Oh, and pot it preflop. Now your OOP on a dangerous flop with 2 players who just called preflop left to act. Spare yourself some of the hard decisions.
