Min grej av Will Self (heter "My Idea of Fun" eller något liknande i original har jag för mig). En svensk bok som är rätt rolig och som inte fick så mycket uppmärksamhet är Dokument rörande spelaren Rubashov av Carl-Johan Vallgren. EDIT: Pestens tid av Stephen King har en fantastisk domedagskänsla som är jäkligt bra och berättelsen är storslaget skön. I övrigt tycker jag att hans språk är alldeles för barnsligt och osofistikerat och jag har aldrig orkat läsa någon annan hel bok av honom. Ska kolla upp ovan nämnda Talismanen!

Och jag hycklar angående vad? För helvete, läs inläggen och var inte så jävla osaklig! Jag har inte påstått någonting överhuvudtaget, förutom att man bör ha tillräcklig uppbackning om man preciserar fakta. Det är klart att det sunda förnuftet säger att majoriteten förlorar, jag ville bara ha bevis från den person som påstod att det var 90%! Jag har inte ens sagt att jag INTE TROR att det är 90%!

Nej, var har jag påstått att man måste vara forskare? Däremot - lägger du fram uppgifter som fakta bör du ha en källa som tål granskning. Och att hitta en källa till DINA påståenden kan knappast vara MITT åtagande. För övrigt är det rätt ointressant vad siffran är, tycker jag.

Jag argumenterar inte emot att det är en allmän uppfattning att 90% av spelarna förlorar. Jag bad om vetenskapliga bevis. Dina länkar saknar vetenskapliga bevis. Och ja, man ska alltid misstro (eller åtminstone vara skeptisk till) artiklar som inte redovisar sina metoder eller källor. Ett boktips som inte är en diss utan en rekommendation - Vetenskapsteori för nybörjare av Thorsten Thurén.

Om det är allmänt känd statistik borde det inte vara svårt att hitta vetenskapligt baserade bevis som du kan länka till. Sanningen är att du bara slänger ur dig ett påstående för att ha en argumentatorisk poäng. Och det är lätt hänt, jag vet.
