Recent research suggests that there are malevolent micro-organisms in our body, like certain Candida bacterium that will actually trick our mind into craving sugar and flour in order to feed themselves! To break their stranglehold the most valuable tool at the warrior’s disposal is a fast. Most ancient philosophical schools required fasting as a prerequisite to receiving higher teachings. Often times, they would ask for 40 days. But 5 days is enough! Here is my five day warrior fast with follow-up.
Day 1
Eat only raw fruit and vegetables. Raw means raw. Not frozen, not canned, not steamed, raw damnit! Either eat an avocado, have a little olive oil on a salad, or take a teaspoon of coconut oil at some point to give yourself some healthy fats.
Day 2
Water. If you are hungry, then just have some more water. If you get reeeaaally hungry, then be sure to have some more water. Continue this until you are absolutely starving–then pour yourself some water. Herbal tea is fine as well, but make sure it has NO CAFFEINE.
Day 3
Water and Vegetable Broth. Either buy yourself some organic vegetable broth or boil it yourself. If you are boiling it yourself throw in some green vegetables, some potato skins, some celery, some carrots, etc. and feel free to drop in a pinch of pink Himalayan salt, or even some kosher sea salt. But don’t eat the veggies, just the broth. Its not soup day, its broth day!
Day 4
Raw veggies, steamed or boiled veggies, and broth. NO FRUITS. But make sure to add in the olive oil, avocado, or coconut oil. Or all three! Those type of fats are not the enemy!
Day 5
Raw vegetables, Steamed Vegetables, Raw Almonds, Raw Cashews, Raw Fruits, Oatmeal, Steamed brown or wild rice, organic vegetable and legume (like lentils or kidney beans) only soup. This is where you begin to re-introduce real food with some protein back into your diet.
FOLLOW UP: Day 6-10
No Sugar, No Caffeine, No Flour, No Alcohol, No Dairy – Add back in certain whole food derived supplements, primarily fish oils and green food.
You will be shocked at how you feel when you are done with this, and your food cravings will be broke like MC Hammer.
