I go into the third period with 8k in the stack. Men the Master raises it up to 600. I have A9h on the button. I call and the blinds calls too. Flop is three rags with two hearts. Blinds checks and Men bets 1200. It looks semi-weak. If he has a huge hand I have outs. He might fold a low overpair. I make it 3400. He pushes for 5700 total. I call. He shows KK. Good hand for me. But I hit nothing and im down to 3000. The last 3k I lose with 76. I limp in to see a flop which is 54Q. I bet, donkey miniraises me. turn 7. I check, he bets. Im all in. I have no FE but I need to double up so lets get as much as possible into the pot. Donkey calls with KQ and no help for me on the river.

 

Im happy with how I played. But every time I worked my way up I got a really bad beat that took me down. I cant get my money in being a bigger favourite then I did today.

Really lazy day today. We were gonna go out and eat some brunch. We tried the buffet at both the Alladdin and at Paris. At both places you had to wait for over an hour to get a spot. So we went back to Palms for the buffet here. Its not very good but its ok.

 

After that me and Jezaja played the sunday tournaments. I was running really good in the big one on Pokerstars but ITM I was really cold. Got like three times the buyin back.

 

Tomorrow Im going for the 1k at Bellagio again. Ill report more then and post some more pics.

I just found an amazing machine at the Palms. Videopoker Jacks or better where you can play up to 100 hands at the same time!!! I tried it. I gave the machine $100. Thats 400 credits. The third hand I get is made straight!! After a few minutes im up to 1400 credits. I can beat this game! 20 minutes later busto. But Im an addicted videopoker pro right now.

I played the 1k at Bellagio today. I was playing a solid tight strategy all through the tournament. Never got any real opportunities to get a big stack.

 

I had one maniac to my left during the whole tournament. This guy managed to get 80% of his stack in with Q5o vs AA and AK all in preflop. He also called an all in with A5h on a board of AT2 when it was VERY obvious the other guy had a better ace. He caught runner runner flush.

 

I pushed with 76s from the button, he called with AJ. I won that pot. I think it was the first time he lost a race.

 

When I was itm I found KJo utg with 7 people at the table. I push and get called by AQs. No luck for me. I got $1750. Next time I play this tourney im gonna gamble a bit more early on to get a stack. Its worth it in the end.

Today we are gonna go to Bellagio for the buffet. After that I will go to Rio and discuss some sponsorship for next season. Later on I might play the 8PM 1k at Bellagio. Two cashes so far in 6 tries. Time for a win!!

Yesterday we did the PF bowling. My team won of course. Allesinnes had no chance when I showed my skills.

 

Today me and my gf will go on a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Damm along with Viet and AussieJ. Its gonna be really fun.

Today we went for the heli-tour of the Grand Canyon and some other stuff.

We had to wait a few extra minutes for the extra. The picked up some couple at the Rio first obviously. We didnt know they picked another big swedish fish. My gf, Viet and Raymi with gf Sarah.

After the flight we had dinner at Cafe Bellagio. Lobser is really there I must say. Then we registred for the 1k satellite to the 10k main event at Bellagio. So, 2PM tomorrow, satellite time!

Really really cold today.

 

In the 1k satellite you start with 3k in chips instead of the normal 5k. IN the first level I get one playable hand, AA. I raise to 175. One guy in the blinds calls me. Flop is AK9 with three spades. Goes check check. Turn another spade. And river goes check chech too. I win. Yippie!

 

Then I get no opportunities to play the few playable hands I get. Next time I get a hand is when blinds are 100/200 with ante 25. JJ on the BB. I have like 2400 left. MP raises it up. I push and he calls with QQ. Im out.

 

I also played the 8PM at Bellagio. I get two playable hands in the first level. 76d and KTc. I raise it up both times. One caller each time and then a fat reraise.

 

When blinds are 50/100 I find KQo when a loose guy limps in early pos. I make a raise to 325 to isolate myself with him. He calls and flop is KJT. He checks. I bet 600, he raises to 1800 and I push instantly. He calls with KJ and no help for me.

 

Tomorrow Im gonna play the 1k satellite again and if I bust the 8PM 1k tournament.

Played my last tourney in Vegas today. Went really good in the beginning. Got pocket kings the second orbit. A good player makes it 175. Im in the CO so I can afford to see a flop. Flop is K rag rag with no draws. I calls his bets on the flop and turn. No draws comes on turn so I can afford it. On the river he check-folds tens. Guess I got as much as I could.

 

A few more small pots and I work my way up to 10k. Then I have to fold ATo to a reraise pre and im down to 9k and a new table. A big guy makes it 600 utg. He gets one caller and I have AKc on the button. I make it 3200. SB pushes for 1000 and the others folds. He shows sixes which holds up. Sigh.

 

After that I get no cards and no situations to play. One time I get AJ but again, I have to fold to a big reraise preflop. I must have had a supertight image so if another tight guy reraises me preflop I guess I have to fold it.

I also got TT. But same thing there, a guy raises and another one reraises. Easy fold.

 

With blinds 300/600 and a stack of 7000 I find 88 in early position. The blinds will be up to 400/800 the next hand. I make it 2000 to go. Again, a reraise and one more semi-short guy pushes. I throw my chips in and im up against TT and QQ and im busto.

 

Been a great time in Vegas. Im flying home in two days. Tomorrow Ill see another show. I was at the Rick Thomas show today. It was ok.

 

Sadly I didnt have the nice timing that you need to go really deep in the tournaments.

No poker today. Slept to 2PM, then some shopping and a dinner at Gaylord. At 10.30PM we went to see the Mystere show at Treasure Island. Really really good one. I recommend it. Flying home in 7 hours.
