Are you going to offer draw games on PokerStars? A: Yes, but first we have to develop an interface that allows the player to interact with his cards (which we currently don't have). We are working on it, but it's going to come after the HORSE/HOSE/Razz roll-out. Q: And what games will you offer then? A: This is a wild guess, but I suspect five-card draw and triple-draw deuce-seven would be near the top of the list. Q: Badugi? A: Once we have a draw interface, adding badugi would not be rocket science. The question is whether it would be popular enough to justify the development work. Also realize that some of these games have a period of popularity similar to that of Vanilla Ice. We don't want to add every fad game that comes along. For instance, some of you will recall that Chinese Poker even made the WSOP cut for one (two?) years. Q: Now that you mention it - what about Chinese poker? A: See above. But perhaps more importantly: Chinese poker isn't "poker" by even a modest definition of the game. [1] On a related point, Chinese poker would be a goldmine for b*ts. No thanks. Q: Okay, fair enough. What about high-low declare Chicago, roll your own? A: Sure, as soon as pigs fly. Best regards, Lee Jones Citera
