Was the villain really that bad that you thought he would be incapable of balancing his range here sometimes with hands like QQ/AK or is this just spewy from your part? In order for this to be +ev you would have to be pretty damn sure that he has a pocket pair every single time as you need to have ~47% equity and T9s has like 51% equity against small pocket pairs.
