was Playing in my usual homegame with blinds 2/4$ NL holdem. we were five players. I was in the bigblind. Preflop : Utg raises to 15$ all of the other 3 players call i look down to my pocket cards and saw Jh 3h and figuered that a call would be in place since there is 66$ in the pot and 11$ for a call. and the flop comes Jc 2d 4h The small blind checks and i make a bet of 40$ in the pot where there is 75$ the utg raisor thinks for a while and says all in with 185$ everyone folds down to me.. what would you've done? I thought for a while, and came to this conclusion: Well there isnt any draws on the board and if he had a let's say AJ then he wouldve wanted me to make the call and wouldve bet a smaller amount or just called. because of no draws on the board. and he wouldve done the same thing with an overpair. so I figured him to have a PP over 4h and lower then the Jc. he wanted me to fold the hand. cause he knows that i.m a tight player and I could easily fold the hand. So I made the call and guess what he shows? PP 8's And i won the hand. he didn't hit. hehe he was really pissed at me due to the call. )) Is that a good call or a bad call?. Take in mind that i made a good anlyze of the hand while playing. sorry för att den är på engelska har postat den på ett annat forum också.
