Biffberra to Monte Carlo
In the end everything worked out for Andreas “Biffberra” Folkessom, who thought he had won a seat to the EPT final in Monte Carlo and 1000 Euro travel allowance. Martin de Knijff and Per Hildebrand from 24hnetwork decided that sending Andreas to Monte Carlo was the right thing to do.
“We had no legal obligation to do so, but I am very pleased with the way Martin and Per resolved this situation. It shows that when I decided to work for Martin I made the right decision. Nobody in this business has a bigger heart”, says Claus Nielsen, President of Martinspoker, and continues “I am very disappointed in the way the Swedish poker forums have handled this matter. They allow anything to be written on their sites, and does very little moderating, unlike the way other professional run forums throughout the poker world does. It doesn’t help that the forums are run by people that have interest in competing sites, which they are clearly not able to put aside when it comes to their own forums.”
