Det här gäller ett sportsbook ärende men antar att det likaväl kan drabba pokerspelare.
Jag tog ut $3000 från min poker (Full Tilt) bankrulle för att spela på amerikansk fotboll som just dragit igång.
Jag satte in 1000SEK med mitt VISA-kort på William Hill och fick matchande 1000SEK i bonus. Se insättningshistorik nedan.
Spelade ett antal fotbollsmatcher under de första två veckorna, se nedan, och var en liten vinnare. Se hela spelhistoriken per nedan. Mitt saldo var efter det på 2900SEK.
Före den 3:e ligaveckan (på torsdag) satte jag in 7000SEK med mitt Mastercard och det gick igenom. Dagen efter fick jag information om att mitt konto hade blockerats och att jag var tvungen att skicka dem dokumentation för verifiering av mitt konto. De bad om standarddokumentation som elräkning, ID, fram-och baksidan av mina kreditkort.
Jag gjorde så och fick under helgen en bekräftelse på att sanktionerna var hävda. När jag dock loggade in på mitt konto såg jag att saldot var noll och upptäckte också att min 7000SEK i insättning returnerats. Jag frågade varför och fick informationen att mina pengar skulle vara tillbaka inom 3-5 dagar.
På dag 5 förnyade jag min kontakt med William Hill och frågade när mina pengar skulle komma in. Jag fick då svaret nedan.
Slutsatsen är att William Hill när som helst, på eget gottfinnande, kan blockera ditt konto, konfiskera dina pengar och de behöver inte ens förklara varför de gjorde så.
Jag skulle vilja varna andra poker och sportsbook spelare om det här problemet.
Det mest skrämmande är att jag inte ens får veta vad jag anklagas för.

You say that I have been involved in "Prohibited practices" and thereby forfeited my funds. William Hill doesnt have any obligation or intention to tell me what those "Prohibited practices" were.
Is this correct?
