Hi Robert,

 

Hold'em Partner's studies of hand rankings were compiled over several years

of professional studies. I think you will find that not every one's hand

rankings are the same, however you will find Hold'em Partner's rankings very

comparable to many professional poker players.

 

As far as calculating number of outs you used this example:

 

Hole Cards were 7dJd

Flop was 5d, 2d, 10h

 

Keep in mind that calculating number of outs are done by not knowing what

any of the other cards are that other people are holding. With that in mind

all outs are assumed:

 

In this example there are 9 diamonds left to catch a flush, 3 7's left to

catch a pair of 7's, and 3 Jack's left to catch a pair of J's. All of which

are cards that will help your hand, henceforth outs = 9+3+3 - 15 outs.

About your product Hold'em Partner 2.0 I have some questions.

 

Either something went wrong with installing some files or your programm

has some really seriuos and dangerous errors.

 

The version we checked is giving the hand 99(a piar of nines) the rating

17 and the hand KTs (King Ten suited) the rank 14, and the hand A9s (Ace

Nine suited) the rank 19.. Is this only wrong in our software, or is this

your oppinion about the hands?

 

Your sotware is also saying that a onecard-flushdraw has about 32% of

being completed. This is a very big bug!!!
