Kindly note Rule Number 6, as stated on the Canbet website :
Each client is wholly responsible for the secrecy of his betting account and should make every effort to prevent the use of the personal account number by any third party, as any transactions entered into where the account holder's number has been given to effect a wager, shall stand as bona fide transactions dependent only upon the current balance of the account.
We can see from our detailed records that the password change was made via the internet, rather than by a Customer Services Representative. In order for someone to change your password on-line they would need your Account Number and current password. In order to gain knowledge of your current password they would need details of your date of birth, Mother's Maiden Name and email address. All password information is sent to the Canbet Account Holder's nominated email address, so they would need access to that Account also.
Please also note that when the withdrawal was requested the log-in was located to the same area as yourself. That same IP has also contacted us regarding an 'account to account' transfer, to a friend's account.
If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me. However, Canbet will not be reimbursing this withdrawal.
